Nanette Johnson, our newest Marketing Associate, was hired in August. Johnson has 8 years of market research experience and a diploma in Health Unit Coordinating. She uses her enthusiasm and excitement to welcome new clients and businesses to our company.
Kelly Rogers was hired as the new Administrative Assistant in October. Rogers specializes in customer service with over 10 years of experience.

December 2007 - aur Enterprises is in the Holiday Spirit
This holiday season, help aur Enterprises collect money for a needy Wauwatosa family. This family of eight from the Milwaukee area could really use our help. aur Enterprises is accepting money donations for the family in need at either of their locations: 5401 North 76th Street #205, and 5911 West Vliet Street. Both offices are open Monday through Friday, 9 am – 5 pm. Aur Enterprises will use all of the money donated to purchase the family much needed gifts. Donations must be in by December 19th, please call 414.788.0888 for further information.
Donations of $5 or more will receive an aur coffee mug, and donations of more than $20 will receive a $10 gift certificate from aur Computer Service. All of the money collected by aur Enterprises will be going towards Christmas gifts for this local family. Any money donations are greatly appreciated.
December 2007 - aur Solar, LLC Adds Employee
Milwaukee, WI - aur Solar, LLC has expanded its staff by adding a new employee; Rick Green of Cedarburg was recently hired as a Financial Consultant.
Green, a Concordia University-Wisconsin graduate, brings over 20 years of accounting experience. Green has been a certified public accountant since 1997 and gained his experience from previous employment as a Chief Financial Officer and Accounting Manager. Green also owns Liberty Tax Service in Hartford, Wisconsin.

November 15, 2007 - aur Computer Service and Wauwatosa West High School collects over 600 jeans
During the month of October, the Key Club of Wauwatosa West High School teamed up with aur Computer Service to collect jeans donated to the St. Vincent de Paul Society on behalf of the Sojourner Truth House. Together they collected over 600 pairs of jeans in an effort to raise awareness during national domestic violence awareness month. As a result of their efforts the Key Club was awarded a refurbished computer from aur Computer Service.
The Key Club is a group of students that volunteers their time to better their community. Barb Lauenstein, advisor of the Wauwatosa West Key Club stated “the computer was just a bonus. At first we were going to use the computer for our new technology lab. Then we decided that we have a number of students who do not have a home computer, so it was obvious to the Key Club that giving the computer to a family was a much better choice. The hard part was deciding on which family to give it to.”
Aur Computer Service chose to donate the jeans they collected to the Sojourner Truth House (www.sojournertruthhouse.org), because of their mission to fight domestic violence. The Sojourner Truth House’s mission is to provide shelter, safety, support, education and advocacy to break the cycle of violence because domestic respect is the right of every woman, man and child.
November 15, 2007 - aur Computer Service Now Offering 7-7-7
November 2007, Milwaukee, WI. Aur Computer Service with several locations in the Metro Milwaukee area is currently offering 7-7-7, in an effort to provide the community with a convenient computer repair service. Aur Computer Service is offering telephone support from 7 am to 7 pm, 7 days per week and has extended their main office hours to 7 am to 7 pm Monday through Friday, and 9 am to 5 pm on the weekend.
“7-7-7 provides both businesses and individuals an opportunity to have their computer repaired at almost anytime of the day,” declared Lee Weigel.

Aur Computer Service teams up with Midwest Computer Recyclers to offer free computer recycling. Instead of throwing your computer in a local landfill, help save mother earth. It is very simple, all you have to do is bring your computer or computer parts and accessories to one of our drop-off locations and the Midwest Computer Recyclers will pick up what we collect. The computer recycling is free for individuals with personal computers, but businesses with large recycling donations maybe subject to a fee.
Aur Computer Service has three locations for individuals to drop-off their computer for recycling. These locations are in the Metro Milwaukee area at 5401 N. 76th Street Suite 205, 5911 West Vliet Street, and 6922 West Good Hope Road. October, 4 2007 - aur Enterprises Attending the Milwaukee Heart Walk
Aur Enterprises will be attending the Metro Milwaukee Heart Walk which is scheduled to take place on Saturday, October 13th at 9:00 am at the Milwaukee County Research Park located at 9900 Innovation Drive in Wauwatosa. Aur Enterprises also made a donation to the American Heart Association. The money raised by the heart walk will be used toward the American Heart Association's efforts to reduce death caused by cardiovascular disease.

Chad Thome, our newest Account Executive, was hired in February. Thome, a University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee graduate, specializes in sales and marketing. His past experience includes market research and advertising.
Paula Lindner was hired as the new Marketing Assistant in March. Lindner graduated from Alverno College specializing in marketing and public relations. She brings her experience from previous employment including Office Administrator and Salon Manager. She also serves as co-Vice President of Student Relations with the Association for Women in Communications.
